Boilerplate

About Team Wheelhouse Foundation.

Team Wheelhouse Foundation is a Charlotte, NC–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit using automotive culture — track days, car meets, motorcycle rides, and racing events — to change the stigma around mental health. Through community events, films, and corporate partnerships, the foundation creates a space where conversations about mental health happen in places they otherwise wouldn’t: the paddock, the parking lot, the pit lane.

“Racing to change the stigma.”

Brand colors

Monochrome by intention.

The palette is deliberately restrained — the work speaks louder than the decoration.

Onyx

#0D0D0F

Primary dark surface. Used for headers, hero backgrounds, and the wordmark.

Bone

#EDEDEA

Primary light surface. Cool off-white — used on dark backgrounds and the reversed wordmark.

Paper

#F7F7F5

Page background. Slightly warmer than bone for body content sections.

Ink

#111114

Body text on light backgrounds. Near-black for maximum legibility.

Usage guidelines

A few rules. The rest is taste.

Do

  • Use the SVG when possible — it scales cleanly at any size.
  • Give the wordmark room to breathe — at minimum, leave clearspace equal to the height of the » chevron on every side.
  • Use the bone-on-onyx version on photography or dark backgrounds.
  • Match the contrast of the surface — never put onyx-on-onyx or bone-on-bone.
  • Reach out if you have a use case that isn’t covered here. We’re a small team and happy to help.

Don’t

  • Don’t stretch, skew, or rotate the wordmark.
  • Don’t change the colors of the wordmark or recolor the chevrons.
  • Don’t add drop shadows, glows, outlines, or gradients to the marks.
  • Don’t place the wordmark on busy photography without a scrim behind it.
  • Don’t use Team Wheelhouse Foundation logos to imply endorsement without prior written agreement.
